SV	En ziende van verre een vijgeboom, die bladeren had, ging Hij [om te zien], of Hij ook iets op denzelven zou vinden; en daarbij gekomen zijnde, vond Hij niet dan bladeren; want het was de tijd der vijgen niet.

ASV	And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find anything thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for it was not the season of figs.
BE	And seeing a fig-tree in the distance with leaves, he went to see if by chance it had anything on it: and when he came to it, he saw nothing but leaves, for it was not the time for the fruit.

Darby	And seeing from afar off a fig-tree which had leaves, he came, if perhaps he might find something on it. And having come up to it he found nothing but leaves, for it was not the time of figs.
ELB05	der Blätter hatte, ging er hin, ob er vielleicht etwas an ihm fände; und als er zu ihm kam, fand er nichts als nur Blätter, denn es war nicht die Zeit der Feigen.

Sch	Und als er von ferne einen Feigenbaum sah, der Blätter hatte, ging er hin, ob er etwas daran fände. Und als er zu demselben kam, fand er nichts als Blätter; denn es war nicht die Zeit der Feigen.
